System Engineer

We are looking for self-driven and motivated System Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Oracle / HP / DELL / Huawei storage and systems support.
  • Oracle Linux / Solaris / Unix support to customers.
  • Virtualization (KVM / VMware)
  • Able to work at a fast pace and achieve pre-determined billable utilization goals.
  • Responsible supporting infrastructure technology implementations in Technology Support Services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice and consultancy for assigned technology and infrastructure systems.
  • Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for (Oracle / HP/ Dell /Huawei) storage & systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support.

Experience & Skills

  • 3-4 years of experience as a system/ support engineer in related environment.
  • Backup Solutions knowledge (NetBackup / Backup exec)
  • Working on Huawei /HP /Dell/Oracle systems. 
  • Able to demonstrate high initiative and ownership of issues.
  • Able to work at a high level independently, utilizing other resources with good judgment.
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Education & Certifications

  • BS – computer science or equivalent.
  • VMware and KVM virtualization certification.
